Work with us

Care work, with time to care properly

Care work can be demanding, but you should never feel that you are doing it alone. We plan sensible local rounds, allow at least an hour for visits and help carers build genuine relationships with the people they support.

Why here

Six things that make this job different

Most care recruitment adverts are identical. These are the specific things we do, which you can check with anyone who works here.

Visits are an hour, not fifteen minutes

You will not be sprinting between calls apologising for being late. Having enough time helps you provide thoughtful care without feeling constantly rushed.

Travel time is part of the round

We build rounds geographically so you are not crossing the borough between two calls, and we do not pretend a journey takes no time.

You get the same clients

Continuity is better for them and better for you. Knowing someone properly is most of what makes this job worth doing.

Training is paid and it is real

Full induction before you work alone, the Care Certificate, and condition-specific training on the people you actually support.

The office knows your name

We are a close, approachable team. When you need advice, you can speak to someone who knows you, understands your round and will help you resolve the problem.

Safe workloads come first

We only accept care packages when we are confident that we have the right people and capacity to provide them safely and consistently.

Roles

What we recruit for

We hire across Trafford, Manchester, Stockport, Cheshire East, Warrington. You do not need experience for every role — you do need to be reliable and to actually like people.

  • Care assistant

Visiting care across a local round — personal care, medication, meals and companionship. Full and part time, plus weekend-only.

  • Live-in carer

Placements of one to several weeks, with your own room and proper breaks built into the rota.

  • Support worker

Supporting people with learning disabilities or autism to make choices, develop skills and live as independently as possible. Shifts may include days, evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.

  • Complex care assistant

Supporting people with individually assessed health needs, which may include PEG feeding, catheter or stoma care and epilepsy support. You will receive person-specific training and must be assessed as competent before providing clinical support.

  • Night carer

Sleeping and waking nights. Regular shifts, not ad hoc, so you can plan a life around them.

  • Care coordinator

Office-based, building rotas, matching carers and answering the phone. Previous care experience is particularly valuable because the role involves building safe rotas, matching carers and responding calmly when plans change.

Being straight with you

Pay and working arrangements

Pay and working arrangements vary depending on the role, location and shift pattern. We will explain all the relevant details during your initial conversation with our recruitment team, before you decide whether to continue with an application.

Ring the office or email recruitment@truecare247.co.uk and ask directly. We will tell you the hourly rate, the travel arrangements and what a typical week looks like before you fill anything in.

What you will need

  • The right to work in the UK
  • An enhanced DBS check — we will arrange and pay for it
  • Two satisfactory references from people we can contact
  • A driving licence and use of a car for most visiting rounds
  • Patience, reliability and a genuine commitment to the people you support

No experience? Say so. We train, and some of our best carers came from retail, hospitality and school support. If there is no suitable role available, we may keep your details for up to six months so we can contact you about future opportunities. We will only do this with your permission, and you can ask us to remove your details at any time.

What happens next

What happens after you contact us

We will begin with an informal telephone conversation to learn about you, your availability and the type of work you want. If there may be a suitable role, we will arrange an interview and explain the pay, hours and location. Any offer will be subject to satisfactory references, right-to-work checks and an enhanced DBS check.

We will try to offer regular hours that suit your availability. This will depend on the role, your location and the needs of the people we support. We will always be honest about the hours available before you accept the role.

Who pays for the DBS check?

We arrange and pay for the required enhanced DBS check.

Will I work with the same people?

We aim to provide consistent rounds and familiar carers wherever possible.

Can I work only at weekends or during nights?
